What is bullycide?

- Bullycide is suicide caused by constant harassment, threats, tormenting, and embarrassment (either from confrontational bullying or cyber-bullying).

Tips to Avoid Being Cyber-bullied:
- Never post/ give out personal information
- Never share passwords
- Do NOT add people you don't know to your friends list
- Block those who act aggressive on your friends list and social networking sites
- Refuse to pass along cyber-bullying
- Tell your friends to stop if they are cyber-bullying
- Raise cyber-bullying awareness
These tips can also help you avoid being bullied.

There are 4 types of cyberbullies, such as:
- Vengeful Angel cyberbully
- Power Hungry or Revenge of the Nerd cyberbully
- Mean Girl cyberbully
- Inadvertent cyberbully

​Remember three rules to preventing/ making cyber-bullying/ bullying worse or becoming a cyber-bully/ bully:

1. STOP-calm yourself down, don't immediately lash out. If you do respond make it calm and unemotional
2. BLOCK-block the cyber-bully/bully from your friends list/ social networking site.
3. TELL-save all posts, e-mails, and texts. Tell a trusted adult

 Cyber-bullying is the torment, embarrassment, threatened, or harassment of someone over the internet, I.M., text messaging, etc.

Children or teens usually recognize cyber-bullying/ bullying when they see it. When cyber-bullying takes place usually harmful messages or photos are posted and are intended to hurt one another feelings. Sometimes cyber-bullies/ some bullies do not intend to hurt another persons feelings.
